Tamale is featured in season 2 of Easy Abby. Episodes launching soon!
Easy Abby is an award-winning dramedy series about a lesbian who is not afraid of her own mojo. Abby has no problem getting a variety of interesting women into bed, but she has never really been in love. With new cast on board for Season 2, including Guinevere Turner (The L Word) and Dalila Ali Rajah (Dyke Central), we'll shed some light on Abby's commitment issues. We'll meet Abby's Mom, who suffers from manic depression, and as more new lovers cross her path, Abby will have to decide what it is she really wants for her future.
Season 1 of Easy Abby made quite an impact, with over 30 million views worldwide and translations in 12 languages, and it won the Audience Award from the North Carolina LGBT Film Festival. AfterEllen.com describes Easy Abby as “a funny, honest and original look at life in the dating world of a 30-something lesbian.”
With a comedic style similar to "The Unbreakable Kimmy Schmidt," and "Louie", Season 1 introduced us to Abby's few friends and many lovers, including the orgeous Danielle (Mouzam Makkar) who threatened to steal Abby's crusty heart. Season 2 will follow Abby as she deals with depression, her troubled mother, and ongoing money problems!
Wendy Jo Carlton is the writer and director of Easy Abby. She also directed the award-winning feature films Hannah Free, and Jamie & Jessie are Not Together.
